Lunch Wed. July 16 11:30 AM el Paradiso- Cornelius
Four people met; had a great break, and met very interesting people. Others wanted to, but couldn't.
We decided to begin with setting each Wednesday, 11:30 am as the lunch day. Next week I suggest El Paradiso Latino Restaurant in Cornelius, in the old chair factory.

Lunch Wed. July 9 Restaurant X 11:30 AM
Hi everybody,
Twelve people expressed interest in doing this. I’d like to make it more automated than e-mail, but in some ways, the few choices I’ve looked at have complications. I did speak with Restaurant X today and asked if they would have a problem with 2-12+ coming in for lunch, all with separate checks. They recommended 11:30 am for a quick in and out.
We want to keep this simple and flexible, with the idea that people can check a website or something and know if anyone will show up without having to call. I’m sure there is some easy technological fix.
For now, just reply if you can make it tomorrow, to give a rough idea. I know at least two people will show—so you won’t be alone for sure. I’ve been asked the M/F ratio, and it’s 50-50. I’m happy to share the names when everyone says ok.
I have set up a blogspot that could work as a home base, but need to set up some sort of feed. I will post the meeting time and place, and people could post a short bio there and leave a comment if they will attend. Go to www.mediahomeworkers.blogspot.com
And leave a comment if you’ll be there tomorrow. This blog is not being submitted to search engines, so it should be fairly invisible to the outside world—but you don’t have to register to leave a comment. We’ll see how it goes.
